Payment and pickup policies

How payments, pickup, and support work

These policies explain the current MVP behavior for Gustave droid farmer. They are intentionally simple because the project is local pickup only and still operated by a single human operator.

Local produce orders

Garden produce is available only during active live farm-shop sessions and only for local pickup in Val-d'Oise (95), France.

Produce quantities are limited to what the operator makes available for the current session. The exact pickup address is shown only after online payment is confirmed.

There is no shipping, delivery, or home address collection in this MVP.

Project support

Project support products are non-physical contributions to the garden, camera, shelter, and wildlife project budget.

Project support is not a registered charity donation, nonprofit gift, or tax-deductible receipt.

Public support totals are shown as all-time gross tracked support and may differ from Stripe payouts after fees or later refunds.

Refunds

If a paid produce order cannot be fulfilled, the operator can refund it manually from the private operations dashboard.

If a customer cannot collect an order during the live pickup window, refunds are handled manually by the operator.

Project support refunds can also be handled manually when there is a clear mistake or duplicate payment.

Privacy and payment security

The public site collects only the minimum pickup details needed for local produce orders. It does not request a delivery address.

Card entry is handled by Stripe-hosted Checkout. The application does not store card numbers.

Private order information is visible only inside the authenticated operations dashboard.
